Theme

The theme of HTM Summit was all about networking with professionals and improving yourself in the professional world. It will be our climb to the top of the mountain. When you think of this theme, you think classy and professional. Our colors consisted of blues, whites, and silvers. The DeVos Place already has a professional environment to it and we thought the Mountain Summit theme would fit right in at the DeVos Place.

How did we execute this theme consistently?

This is the invitation that was handed out to all HTM classes. It resembles a ski pass and has all the information that the students needed to know for the day of the event.

This is how the scratch-off cards carried out our theme. We ordered 500 and had 30 winners made out of the 500. We handed them out with the invitations to all of the HTM classes. It added to the excitement of the event and they had to be present at Summit to claim their prize.

This is a piece of our wayfinding material. It had rock-climbing equipment on it to resemble the climb to success and was decorated with Grand Valley colors. It was located next to the registration table.

This was a welcome sign on our registration table. It gives you a little sneak peak of what the rest of the decorations were throughout the event.

These are the decor pieces that were on every table inside Ballroom C. Some tables had a lantern with rocks and a lit tea light and others had water and rock filled mason jars with lit tea lights. It matched the decor on the registration table, breakfast table, and LinkedIn picture table.

This is a sample of the name badges that all the attendees, faculty members and staff got to wear.

This is the sign that was displayed in front of each breakout room that stated who was speaking in that room at what time.
