My Event Planner Experience
Marketing Plan
Our marketing plan consisted of being consistent with the theme and marketing to our target markets, which were all HTM students and faculty. We used all the resources that were made available to us. Some of those resources included the weekly announcements slideshow that played everyday in all HTM classes before class, our HTM 240 class went and spoke to all HTM classes while handing out the invitations and scratch-off cards, many teachers made it mandatory for their students to attend as well. The invitations included the link to the website that supplied detailed information about the event and what to expect when they got there and also the registration button was on the website. We also supplied a brochure in all the swag bags to help with the agenda for the day.
This is the invitation that was handed out to all HTM classes. It resembles a ski pass and has all the information that the students needed to know for the day of the event and the website address.

This is how the scratch-off cards carried out our theme. We ordered 500 and had 30 winners made out of the 500. We handed them out with the invitations to all of the HTM classes. It added to the excitement of the event and they had to be present at Summit to claim their prize.

This is the brochure that was supplied in the swag bags to every attendee. They included the agenda, slots to personalize your own breakouts sessions and schedule, all of the prizes that were involved in the raffle giveaway and a notes section.

Here are the slides that we included in the weekly announcements slideshow.
